going to the game on Feb. 7th for wife's birthday. going to Geno's for dinner, then driving to Gampel about 6:15 or 6:30. Planning to drop off wife at Geno's, then park close to Gampel, walk back to Geno's while wife shops. After dinner we stroll back to Gampel. Is that about a mile???? 20 minutes. But, forecast is for showers possible. If it is raining we will likely park at Geno's for dinner and then drive to Gampel. Advice on trying to park somewhere close in that event. Is nearby parking usually filled up by 6:15 or 6:30.

Taking campus transportation is always an option, too. If I remember correctly, the red line would cover the Gampel/Bookstore to Storrs Center route.

It is an essay walk from Geno s to Gampel. Walked it many times as both of my daughters had lived in the Oaks.

Google maps says closer to a mile, fine for me, not so sure about the wife. Can we just get on the red line as old geezers, or pay them a buck or two because we don't have a student ID?

You should just be able to get on, unless something has recently changed.

And the red or silver line should have you sorted.

After eating at Geno's, I don't know how you will feel walking about a mile
