Anyone have any advice on the best places to park at the BC game? Not tailgating, and ideally not too far away from the stadium since I’m going with the fam. Was looking at maybe the Newton campus lot

If you go on the BC web site, you can find parking. You can park for $42 at Lower Brighton which is ~0.7 miles from the football stadium. No tailgating though. It is about the same distance to the stadium as the Chestnut Hill T stop if you park at Riverside.

The ideal place to park if you want to buy parking on Stub Hub is Waul House. No tailgating, but it is easy in and out and about 5 minute walk to the stadium.

This requires a mile, slightly hilly walk, but you can park for free on Hammond Pond Parkway. The strategy for tailgating: drop one of the team off w/sacrificial lamb styrofoam cooler on Beacon St. near stadium, then head back to Hammond and take said beer-earning walk.

I believe that Hammond Pond Parkway is no longer available for parking. Newton has eliminated this as an option, one that I used to use. I believe there is now parking available at Chestnut Hill Mall with a bus to campus.

Easy decision just do this
That's what we did 20 years ago. IIRC, we stayed on for one stop past Chestnut Hill and had our tailgate at a watering hole close to the next stop.

I've always viewed parking at BC for football as similar to UFO's and the Loch Ness monster. Something that a few stray people claim to have seen, but reasonable, sane people know does not really exist.

if you have the means, you can launch your boat on the reservoir and enjoy a lively although perhaps short-lived gathering

I bought parking through BC at the Hammond Pond Parkway lot. Has anyone used it and have any idea how quick and/or reliable the shuttle bus service they say they have is? It's 1.1 miles so walking is fine if necessary.

Friends have parked there. The shuttle getting to BC was fine. Not sure about after the game. I think it is longer than 1.1 miles, but not much longer.

I heard it's about a 15 minute walk from the lot to the game but about a 45 minute walk from the game back to the lot. The difference is staggering. Hopefully a victorious walk

Of course, as soon as I buy my parking pass for the game my son's football team has their game start changed. If anyone is interested in a Waul House pass, I have one available.
