Parking Advice

Will be driving to the XL Center on my own for the first time for tomorrow evening's game (assuming good things happen tonight). My old man suggested that I shoot for the Propark garage on Main St. Knowing how much of a crapshoot parking in Hartford is and how there will likely be a large crowd if we're playing tomorrow night, I'm not too sure of my chances. Where else would people with experience suggest I park?

Not on main st. Park in the temple or Morgan st garages. Easier access for you to get back to Mansfield-Storrs since they are closer to 84 ramps.

Park in the lot next to the Crown Plaza. Six bucks, easy on/off.

Hartford will be hopping on Friday. Nobody went to see USF/UCONN because:

1. USF always stinks
2. UCONN isn't very good this year
3. The average fan reasoned, "if they beat USF, I'll go Friday. I've gotta work tomorrow and there is a 50/50 chance the wrong UCONN shows up anyway."

Friday night is busy downtown, especially when there is an event. My bet is the AAC has a great showing tonight. As soon as UCONN is eliminated, its lights out. Let's hope that UCONN wins this thing for obvious reasons.

I parked in the MAT garage directly in front of the Hilton. It cost me six bucks.

I drive a truck and it was pretty damn tight in there. But it's a convenient location and right next to the highway on ramp.
