Maybe Walker-Kimbrough has waked up - great rebound and coast-to-coast layup. Announcer wondering when/if Coates will wake up.
 
Coates finally shows some life on the offensive end and then fails to move her butt to stop a foul line make on the defensive end. Also, I am now ready to pronounce that the US is getting jobbed by the refs on physical plays.

They'll just have to overcome it- I think they will. Coates is active now. I think they want it. They outscored Cuba 20-11 in the 3rd.
 
Stewie needs to forget the 3. It's not there. Go inside and look to draw fouls.

After taking a 61-57 lead, we made 3 trips without scoring.
 
They fouled Jefferson after the inbounds and then threw her to the floor after the handoff.

Ok. Grabbing Mo's arm is a great defensive play? I guess it is if you can get away with it.
Oops. Another crash into Mo at the foul line. International rules, any body contact is allowed.

Big plays by Harper. I was afraid Mo would be the goat with the poor decision on that possession when the ball was stripped.

Very fortunate. The US players need to rest their weary legs. Wow.

About as ugly as one can play and still win a basketball game. It's heartening that some players who had been quiet this tournament made key plays toward the end of the game.
 
Well that was a nail biter. They just pulled out the win over Cuba. Only 1 of 11 for 3's hurt the US team today.

It was surprising that the U19 team outscored the Pan Am team over two exhibitions. After watching this tourney it no longer should be.
 
It's easy to be critical of some of the play today but 4 games in 4 days with a quick turn-around is exhausting. The World Championships and Olympics don't play schedules like that.

Tired players makes for missed shots and bad decisions. They made a great comeback and let's give them credit for that.
