I have this teory about all the injuries, but why ruin a perfectly delightful Sunday.
Terrible coach, the most player turnover in the history of basketball, very dumb owner, a bunch of players, not a team ...um, let's see, I guess that's enough. Many of us thought this season in Dallas would be bad, but did anyone think it would be this bad? Paige follows up a 44 point performance with an 11 point game, then a 9 point game. But worse, they lose to an expansion team that is now 19-18, fighting for a playoff spot. Meanwhile, Dallas is 9-29, eliminated from the playoffs.
That's why you can't double A.T. or C.C. because if you do they pass so well they find the open player for a layup or a wide open threeThe announcers stated that Paiges passes were to slow to her teamates after she was double teamed and the defense was able to recover and cover there man. Also teammates do not have a high BB IQ which is why the team plays so poorly on defense and offense.
I would say Paige IS an elite passer. I think her issue this year is a disorganized team. To make good passes she needs to know where her teammates will be and when they’ll cut. It’s been clear to me from the beginning of the season that the team has little discipline on offense or defense. I’d hoped it would get better with time, but the combination of turnover on the team and a coach of questionable ability has put that possibility to rest. That's why you can't double A.T. or C.C. because if you do they pass so well they find the open player for a layup or a wide open three
Paige is a good passer but not an elite one
Seriously? On a good team, where everyone passed the ball and cut, Paige was 2nd in the nation in A/TO ratio with a remarkable 3.52. Surround her with more experienced players who understand ball and player movement better than the inexperienced cast of characters she currently plays with, and her assist numbers in the W, which are very good, would be considerably better. That's why you can't double A.T. or C.C. because if you do they pass so well they find the open player for a layup or a wide open three

I don't think you've been paying attention. Paige may be the best passer in the W. Often she has no one to pass to to accomplish anything. That's why you can't double A.T. or C.C. because if you do they pass so well they find the open player for a layup or a wide open three

I wouldn't waste time responding to Browns on this forum. He is obviously a devoted CC fan whose prime purpose being on this forum and this specific Paige's Wings Page thread is no matter what stat is referenced to continually contrast Paige in a negative light while promoting CC even when the "facts" or 'stats" he states are wrong or at best misleading. Get's tiresome. I think the most appropriate reaction to his posts is no reaction. Best to just ignore him completely.Seriously? If the ownership has any desire in wanting to make the Wings at least a strong competitor in the W then they must seriously consider starting over. It ain't working and won't as long as this team is managed and coached the way it is. The Wings despite the brave post-game comments by the players and the coach is not a team but instead a loosely and badly formed bunch of basketball players who don't play team basketball on offense or defense. It's simply dreadful to watch how Paige must feel game after game when the Wings just can't get it together. Enough Old Willie. You're beating a dead horse.Terrible coach, the most player turnover in the history of basketball, very dumb owner, a bunch of players, not a team ...um, let's see, I guess that's enough.
She's also got a bad back right now........if the team wasn't so shorthanded, she probably would have sat out a game or two or at least played limited minutes....Paige is gassed. This season needs to end for the Wings.

You must not know the equation for assists — it takes a passer and a finisher and also chemistry between the two. And then there’s A/TO statistics to give context. That's why you can't double A.T. or C.C. because if you do they pass so well they find the open player for a layup or a wide open three

Interesting take, Bald Husky. Haven't given lot of thought to Serah with Betts and the other names being cast up as potential Wings candidates. Will like to see how she advances under Geno's and CD's wings. No doubt transferring in she is extremely motivated so with a strong will to improve and a high skill level she could definitely surprise a lot of people.OK, kicking around who the Wings can choose in the next draft. Betts, sure a safe pick, but if you look back to the UConn game, if she is more than 2 feet from the basket she can't score. The W demands a Big that can move around the paint, able to shoot 3's, and be a top-notch passer. After the next campaign, I wonder if Serah Williams could show that she is a top candidate. We know she is good, but under CD's tutelage, maybe she can develop to be a great Big that the pros cannot dismiss. Never know, she is already an all-Big10 player, so who knows how good she can get after a year with UConn. Serah will have plenty of exposure, so it is up to her how far she can go, and she may prove to be that good.
Not according to Nancy Lieberman she's not and she knows a lot better than you or I would about passing the ballI don't think you've been paying attention. Paige may be the best passer in the W. Often she has no one to pass to to accomplish anything.
