Paige has taken it to another level this year. She is averaging over 50% shooting overall, over 40% on 3's and just under 90% on free throws. But for her career, I believe that she has been the best mid-range shooter that I have ever seen. She is lights inside the 3 point range arc. She is just money!

Add that she has gotten much more aggressive offensively, she has become even MORE unstoppable.

It'll be interesting to see what the condoms, err, Trojans throw at her tonight.

Simply otherworldy it seems. She often gets the defender to commit one way or the other, or she waits for the perfect moment for her teammates to set that pic. Then she makes her move and shoots up like a sea launched ballistic missle. And BANG! - her shot slips through the nets like butter. And against OK none of her shots "clanged" through, they were like radar guided to the very center of the hoop. Just an amazing display.

I thought that Maya and Azzi were the best high school players I had seen—until I started watching Hopkins games on streaming when Paige was a senior. She always found ways to win. The midrange was probably her primary weapon. She’s at a pro level, in fact, an All-Star level.
