It's interesting, watching Paige's games and seeing the different types of turnovers (Paige standards vs virtually all point guards - and, certainly, all rookie point guards - are very, very different).
She will occasionally make a truly bad pass. Some of these are miscommunications between her and an intended target; others are the result of forcing the ball inside to a big who is double or triple teamed, or who has stone hands and hasn't established positioning.
She will occasionally miss on a home run pass (probably under the mistaken assumption that Aubrey is the target and will haul in a pass on the dead run).
She can lose her footing (& the ball) when blitzed or if she misreads the double or triple team that quickly develops when penetrating.
She has (I believe) one traveling call and one (badly called IMO) charge.
My point is: even though her assist/turnover ratio is below the 3 to 1 gold standard, she is still comfortably above 2 to 1, and she should be able to to be more and more efficient as she learns to read defensive tactics more rapidly, continues to be more in tune with the tendencies of her teammates and, hopefully, to be helped out more by her teammates when she is being trapped.
When everything is considered, she has been terrific thusfar and should only continue to get better.
