Conn women’s basketball’s Paige Bueckers and Iowa’s Caitlin Clark duked it out in an epic Sweet 16 battle earlier this week. Now, they’re sharing the stage as they’re recognized for their stellar freshmen seasons. Both Bueckers and Clark were are the co-winners of the 2021 WBCA NCAA Division I Freshman of the Year award, the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced Monday.

No. Paige is going to the Final Four, and Caitlin got knocked out in the Sweet 16. Also, Paige was key in winning against a bigger, stronger, more experienced Baylor team. We don't know what Caitlin would have done. We do know what Paige did.
