Storrs Central: Paige Bueckers 'feeling good' following return from knee sprain (no paywall)

Paige is one tough cookie. Watching her for 4 years get injured and come back, watching her get slammed, bumped, hit the floor on lay-ups and knocked around like she has been, amazes me no end. Paige is the heart of a dedicated BB player and a credit to BB and herself. She is the definition of what a well put together dedicated elite BB should be and why so many young females love her and emulate her.Paige should get a special recognition when she scores her 2000th point at home because of her grind to accomplish it. SHE BELONGS ON THE WALL! GO PAIGE!!!!!

Paige earned her place on the wall in her freshman season. I could be wrong but I think it was decided not to actually put her on the wall while she was still playing.

I’m not sure if you’ve seen Geno’s rule for players to earn the right to get their names on the wall. Only All-Americans can have their names on the wall. Paige was a USWBA and AP All-American in her freshman year. That’s a Geno rule, btw, not a UConn rule

I believe you also have had to graduate from UCONN. Megan Walker is not on the wall even though she was an AA in 2020. (AA, USBWA and WBCA). She left for the WNBA early and I'm not sure she ever graduated.
