Actually, there are triplets. Here's the youngest one:If Nika was really her twin.![]()
Damn UConn don't hurt 'em!
Since I have no interest in listening to the SC players, I hope some BY'ers will transcribe the PB assessments.
She also gave no credit to UConn’s defense for all the turnovers and lack of fast break pointsZia Cooke said Paige is a great player and a great player makes great play. She also talked a little about the ball but nothing like what Dawn was saying about the ball not bouncing enough. Zia said that the ball is a little slippery and that's why they had some of their turnovers.

Anybody who has read any of my posts related to Nika obviously knows I am a fan of her game both as it is developing and what it will ultimately become. I agree that she really sees the big picture very objectively in terms of her own game and that of the team. I may be jaded but I really think she has become a very important piece of the puzzle. The movement on the offense, when she is in the game is noticeably more fluid and she plays her butt off on D, which I think is infectious. Her cutting, passing, screening, ball handling and constant movement really open up things for Paige to do her thing (which is off the charts!). She seems to thrive on all the stuff that doesn't show up in the stats. A great teammate, not surprised she is Paige's 'slime.' And what a personality, her glare could stop you in your tracks and smile can brighten anybody's day. Really glad she's a Husky.Did anyone listen to Nika’s full postgame presser? Her knowledge and assessments were spot on and wholly mature for anyone let alone a freshman. Man, I really hope she stays 4 years. There were those that thought she would not even get mop up minutes and here she is starting along side Paige and their chemistry is so evident. Lucky us 🍀

Takes after her coach.
Did you not listen to Paiges interview ? She gave SC a lot of credit in playing tough defense and playing hard ..I don't see any Uconn players giving specific credit to SC defense for all those missed outside shots, even all the Paige's missed 3-pt shots.

I have to say that I didn't think she was ready only 5 or 6 games ago. Her progression and confidence is off the charts. Her poise and the way she looks at the game is admirable. She gives a great interview. Says all the right things with the right energy. Very impressive on and off the court. There has never been a group of freshman that have forced a coach ( who typically does not like to rely on freshman) to play and count on them. This says a lot about all of them.Anybody who has read any of my posts related to Nika obviously knows I am a fan of her game both as it is developing and what it will ultimately become. Did Uconn play with a different ball because I didn't hear them cry about it ! ???????? Dawn is becoming the new McGraw.Zia Cooke said Paige is a great player and a great player makes great play. I agree completely. I was extremely impressed with Nikki's post game comments. It was also nice to see her smile because she's always so intense on the court.Did anyone listen to Nika’s full postgame presser? Exactly, Dawn has always rubbed me the wrong way. If this rivalry continues, I can see there being bad blood between the teams and coaches. She doesn’t come out and say things but she kinda dances around things. Felt this for years now. Just waiting to see who shoots the first shot.So SC had zero fast break points, but it wasn’t anything UConn did. Rather it was turnovers - not caused by UConn, just self-inflicted with help from the Nike ball.
