In the third-ranked Huskies’ lone game of the week, Bueckers had game highs in points (23), assists (5), steals (3) and shooting percentage (.800) in Saturday’s win over Providence.
She deserves this and more. While others had a few more points, a few more asst., a few more rebounds, she had the whole package, she ran the offense, plus put up points, dished the ball, and had rebounds while making a high number of points while having the best shooing% 800%. To me this is far more important than a couple more points.
Super lame that since she's a freshman, she keeps getting the consolation award of Rookie of the Week when she should be getting Player of the Week honors. Siegrist is a good player on a team barely above .500 in conference play. As far as player of the year, there is NO way Siegrist should get that. The Player of the Year should go to the best player on the best team.
