Can't believe that she asked Azzi about her future, regardless of what Geno said earlier this week. I would think that the question should have been discussed before the interview began.

An obnoxious interview. Duncan asks them about Lindsay Gottlieb of all things and Paige brushed it off. What a stupid question. Then she presses Azzi on her plans and Azzi has to deflect it. How rude.

I get that these are marketable questions and she’s hoping for a scoop. But it doesn’t seem to occur to her that these kids didn’t come on her show to be the next commodity.

Geew1992- - -It always amazes me of the job CD & staff do in preparing every girl for scenes away from the court such as interviews!
I realize that all are recruited as intelligent BB players but by the time they leave every UConn girl is social speaking smart! And Sarah has come along way since her November/December interviews!

Couldn’t agree more. Many have said UConn prepared them for the world and life outside of basketball

It may have been. It's routine to preview the discussion questions with the interviewees. The goal is to a free-flowing conversation without any silence. Azzi wasn't put off by the request.

Talk about stupid questions I can across this question as part of a quiz in an article about UConn vs USC in the NCAA tournament.

That's not what I thought but it's no big deal. I was just expressing my opinion in my original post and I still stand by it.

We all would have loved that question if Azzi had unequivocally said she's coming back next season........

Paige was way too smart to bite on the Lindsey Gottleib question! She's just, as they say, cool as a cucumber. Sarah is too funny. Wherever there is a microphone she looks pretty uncomfortable. And just so she doesn't feel left out: Azzi is always too cool for school.

Sarah is so funny in interviews. It makes you want to like her even more, when you realize she just does not want to talk about her game.

She also seldom smiles, but when she does it's infectious. She also has the mischievious half smile...like a pull up jump shot.

The kids handle tough questions like pros.

Interviewer is asking the questions everyone wants to know but Azzi and Paige are media trained to the ninth degree and Sarah naturally doesn't say anything off the cuff. If I had a secret I'd tell Sarah Strong.
