Depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for another guard who can score, rebound, play defense and do a little bit of everything, someone to take the place of Evina coming off the bench, Meyers would be a very good addition to UConn’s roster imo.Watched this game to root for Carlas team, as well as taking a look at Abby Meyers. Classified as a PG, but rarely had the ball in her hands unless someone passed her the ball to shoot. Good pull-up, gets off the three very quickly. If we are going after an additional guard next season, IMHO, she is not the one. She has nothing on our girls. and as I already mentioned, rarely had the ball in her hands. The real deal is the true PG, Kaitlyn Chen. This girl was outstanding, looked for her shot like a senior, can shoot from anywhere, she will be a star in any league. She is an academic Sophomore, but a freshman athletically since they cancelled their season last year. I would take her. LOL
… Plus Abby Meyers brings invaluable experience, maturity, & leadership as a seasoned grad transfer. These elements arguably as important as her game/stats versatility.Depends on what you’re looking for. Meyers shoots 40% from the arc. She’s the second leading rebounder for Princeton, and pretty much fills up the stat sheet in every category. Chen is an excellent pg. But alas, just a sophomore.
Meyers is also Academic All-Ivy. Very smart lady.… Plus Abby Meyers brings invaluable experience, maturity, & leadership as a seasoned grad transfer. These elements arguably as important as her game/stats versatility.
UConn has enough PG’s & stars. They need a complementary piece to replace what they’re losing in Evina Westbrook— on & off the floor.
You should direct that request to the Ivy League Sports Network who prominently covered Paige’s appearance at the Ivy WBB Championship, just like major networks cover celebrities at ball games all the time. Why do people have to report everything about these two! Not a question. Leave them alone unless it is about UConn Basketball
