Ok, The only concrete competition (I think) on First Night is 3 pt shooting? so Paige did not pick Azzi.

Ines being picked midway by Paige was adorable with Ines giving a sheepish 'who me' type look.

Good job by the Captains knowing all the names on both teams.

I think it was interesting that Amari was Paige's first women's choice. If that was based on what she has done in practice, then I am excited about that.

Maybe I'm cynical, but I suspect the teams were already divided up to be somewhat equal. They were just going through the motions to make a video.

I think a bit too cynical. I can see them

meeting before and going over loose rules and what makes for a good overall team mixing between the men's and women's team (and making sure all names are known) but I think to maximize the fun for the players, there is a level of spontaneity to the picks.
