That is a different argument. My point was merely that he Parsons did not want to be there any more. You won’t get any argument from me on the dysfunction in the Cowboy head office! My point was only that they likely got about as good a deal as they could while avoiding the continuing distraction of a protracted sniping contest between the two parties.I hear what you're saying now why did Parsons not wanna be there? Jerry Jones running everything has been a dysfunctional mess, he's gonna be trying to showcase Michael, Troy, and Emmitt for the rest of his life. Excellent Netflix documentary btw on the Cowboys.
A franchise like the Packers doesn't tank, they have their franchise qb who they groomed to take over for Aaron Rodgers. Given the circumstances the Cowboys did the right thing. For the Cowboys to not keep their star players something is wrong in that organization, and I don't think it rocket scientist to see who the problem is since the Jimmy Johnson days.
By the way, I don’t think this was all Jones’s fault. It sounds as though Parson’s agent shares much of the blame along with Jones. Which means of course, that Parsons bears some responsibility as well. I used to bleed Cowboy blue back in the triplets days! Once Jimmy Johnson left, it’s been a waking nightmare. I no longer follow them at all.
I just hope the Wings can chart a better path. Paige can take them to the promised land if they just get their ducks in order and surround her with the right players and coach!
