Paige’s good-bye to UConn Nation

I will say this. While I have been a huge fan of women’s college basketball for many years, my fandom has never been as strong for the pros. I tend to follow those professional teams with UConn grads on them and little else. Hell, it’s baseball season anyway.

This past year I did watch several Indiana Fever games because of CC. I cannot remember ever watching a Dallas Wings game, unless they were playing Stewie and the Liberty. But I will probably watch every Wings game I can this season just to see Paige work her magic at the Pro level, as she did in college, HS and Fiba.

Last year there were a lot of Fever games televised to cash in on the popularity of CC and I'd assume that the W would be smart to do the same for Wings games this year.

The game in Dallas between the Fever and the Wings has already been moved to the 20,000 seat American Airlines Arena, which is expected to be sold out for the game. Courtside seats are reportedly going for $5000 a piece. Lots of Big Rollers in Big D.

Yeah but, it's not the W. It's the TV's call. If they can make a buck, the game will be on.

Damn, it's been a wet spring here in Indiana, gotta get that roof leak fixed.......
What part of Indiana, I was born and raised in Lafayette.

Is it rabbit season or duck season?

We're about 35 miles north of downtown Indy. I'm originally from north central Massacusetts, so I've retained all my original sports teams, although I can't stand the NBA anymore. I hate to say it, but I don't watch any of the Celtics games. I'm looking forward to watching the Indiana Fever with Caitlin and co. this summer. :)

Thirty-five miles North, is it Tipton? I'm originally from West Lafayette. As for the the NBA, I haven't watched a game since the Larry and Magic show ended. Now days they don't play basketball, one of the clips they played a while back showed Lebron taking at least 4 steps after the dribble before dunking it. That's not the basketball that I played back in the 60's and 70's. It's one of the reasons why I watch the women's game, both college and the W.

Arcadia, just south of Tipton. And what you wrote about the NBA, I echo that 1000%. Several of my friends feel exactly the same. I love watching the old YT videos on the 60's, 70's, and 80's Celtics though. :)

NBA? What’s that? Maybe you mean the MNBA.

Sounds like it's a couple dozen miles north of Shade's Noblesville. Maybe 35 miles is somewhere between Tipton and Kokomo?

And I don't watch the NBA for that very reason.
