I see that Dick’s Sporting Goods along with several other retail and online outlets had the Paige Bueckers - Dallas Wings jerseys & T-shirts up for sale almost immediately after Paige’s name was called in the draft. It does make you wonder what would have happened to all that merchandise if the Wings executed a last minute trade for the #1 pick?

If you notice, right after the Superbowl, the winning team immediately starts putting on team gear (hats & T-shirts) that say “Superbowl Champions” which makes you wonder what happens to all that Superbowl gear that was on hand for the losing team.
What the NFL has done for years is to ship that merchandise to 3rd world countries, mostly in Africa, where it’s handed out. So you can still get a championship hat for the KC Chiefs for the most recent Superbowl. You just have to fly to Africa to buy one from a local.
Paige is sad. She cried all the way to the bank.

Good thing no player on the Wings already had #5, or if they did, she might be a little richer today.

Not championship stuff but many years ago in France there were misprinted NFL tees for sale on an outdoor rack. An orange Dallas Broncos and a blue New England Cowboys and a red Baltimore Patriots etc. in 1999 at Tampa for the Final Four they had neutral color championship hats where they had a place for the winning team which was still to be determined to be added. The UConn emblem was put on the hat once they won. The only waste was the emblems for the other three teams. I have a question that really confuses me. In one of the interviews, they asked Paige when a signature shoe would be coming out. She replied that there are others in line before her. Am I crazy, but isn't the shoe she already has a signature shoe by Nike? What am I missing?
it's all nonsense. just like "jordan brand" is somehow different from nike....even though it's just nike.

A lot of those kinds of jerseys including other sports that are printed up before a super bowl, NBA finals, Stanley Cup and others that has the wrong team winning goes to other countries poor people.
