  • #19 Arizona State @ #5 Oregon (9p ET, Pac-12 Network). Can ASU's defense slow down the Oregon offensive machine?
  • Colorado @ Utah (9p ET, Pac-12 Mountain). This is the return game from the conference opener won by Utah at Boulder. If Kennedy Leonard is still out, Colorado probably has no chance here.
  • Washington @ #6 Stanford (10p ET, Pac-12 Bay Area). UW managed to play Oregon tough in Eugene, but it's hard for me to imagine them doing the same at Stanford.
  • Arizona @ #10 Oregon State (10p ET, Oregon State live stream). Great matchup at point guard between Slocum and McDonald, two of the most dynamic players in the conference.
In a midday game, Cal got back in the win column with a 77-63 win over Washington State. Anigwe had a massive game: 29 points and 23 rebounds. Cal is now 2-3 in conference.

I figured Wazzu and UW coming to town was exactly what Cal needed.

A few non Pac 12 games--Marquette hammered Seton Hall 96-60 and DePaul is leading St. John's by 5 at halftime.

Hiedeman is having a really stellar year, another 28 points in this game. You'd never know that Marquette is missing its best player, Allazia Blockton, currently out with an ankle injury.

Love the way Hebard movies in the paint. Then she gets back on defense fast. Love her play.

THese early games Show one really compelling matchup as Oregon ASU should provide good theatre, hopefully ASU holds up. I haven’t seen the Ducks since their win over MSU, I only know they also have t played any competition. How are they looking

Struggled in their Pac 12 opener against UW, been crushing everybody since them. A pair or 40 point beat downs against Washington St. and USC and handled UCLA fairly easily as well. The LA schools were on the road.

Utah up 43-34 at halftime. Colorado hanging fairly tough without their PG and best player.

Oregon is looking pretty solid, up 9 on ASU at the half. (There's more talk on this game in the separate thread started by Shades for this game.) Ionescu has 13, Hebard 10, Cazorla 9. Oregon definitely getting the benefit of the whistles, though. Kianna Ibis for ASU is impressive with 10 points.

I hope ASU can come back a bit and make a closer game..

Oregon St. jumped out to a quick 11-2 lead but Arizona has scored 6 straight to get back in it, now at the first media TO. I don't think McDonald has scored yet so they're getting contributions from other players. OSU hit their first 3 from behind the arc.

OSU back to being too 3 point dependent. 5-6 behind the arc, a a pair of FTs, and that's it. Leading. 17-13

Arizona is really pretty good huh? Weren’t they picked for like 9th?

Stanford game going as I expected especially inPalo Alto, hopefully more than 4,000 fans show up

Slocum finally got a 2 point bucket on a drive, McDonald answers w/ a 30 footer at the buzzer. 19-18 OSU after Q1. They've held McDonald in check, not really a good sign for OSU that UA is hanging in it w/out Aari going wild.

They've definitely been a surprise. I don't think anybody thought McDonald would be this good. She averaged a little over 9 points/game as a Fr. at UW before transferring. Fr. Cate Reese has been a solid contributor too.

They were picked 10th in the preseason Pac-12 poll. Definitely a pleasant surprise. I don't think anyone expected McDonald to be this great just yet.

Stanford up on UW 27-11 after one quarter. They gave out goofy red wigs with flashing lights. Looked pretty funny during the intros when the lights were dimmed.

Arizona defense has Oregon St. stymied. They can't find any shots other than 3's and now they've cooled off. UA leading 26-24 midway thru Q2.

Arizona finally giving McDonald some help. Her supporting cast was abysmal against Stanford and Cal. But in this game they're 8-14 from the field so far.

Beavs got hot all of a sudden, now up 35-28. All inside the arc. Pivec shooting a pair of FTs just before halftime.

13-2 run to end the half, OSU now up 37-28. Reese w/ a big half, 12 points for UA. McDonald has 7.

Pivec w/ 10 points and 5 boards, Corosdale has 9 and 6. 23-13 rebounding margin for OSU.
