I doubt we will match up in the NCAA's....... but thats definitely the #1 I would want Duke to play if we were to make it to the Regional Final. So yeah..... I could see Duke winning that matchup.

Please tell me more about why you see Duke having a better chance against Stanford, rather than ND or UC? Specifically, the inside game, with Duke being labeled, accurately I think, more comfy in a half court game?

With our injuries and suspensions..... I would much rather face a bigger team like Stanford, as opposed to a guard oriented one like ND or UCONN. We dont have the guard depth nor perimeter speed to handle that kind of attack. I'd take our chances against a bigger team like Stanford any day of the week. Out of our 7 players who play.... 4 of them are more suited to be 4/5's.... and 2 are guards.. and one swing guard. If you look at 3 of our regular season losses.. to ND, KY, and UCONN.... all were guard oriented teams... Im not saying that Stanford's guards are weak.... but its not the strength of their team. Plus..... The Coach for Stanford gave Chelsea Gray some bulletin board material earlier in the year.

Makes sense to me. Thanks. Stanford's inside players though are quick and long - they will disrupt a half court set up and still recover against baseline attacks. What was the bulletin board material?

That's a low blow by Tara for calling Gray out by name like that. Carolyn Peck made the comments about Duke being a number one over Stanford, not Gray. She should have focused her anger at the right person.

Tara, the solution is obvious. Join the Big East . UR football team will win more and UR " we are media agnored here in the West" will be solved! Stanford and the Big East, perfect together. Why let a little geography slow you down. It has had no effect on lots of other sports programs this year.
