Could Brent Venables DC at Clemson be the carbon copy of Charlie Strong for us? VERY similiar resume to Strong when he was hired at Louisville.

When they met at mid-field and their meeting post-game being shown on the screen, Edsall was very excited that he improved his chance to coach UMD into the B1G going into next season and PP looked dejected, Edsall saying good work in whatever else he accomplished. When you can't win Paul, your time is up. Nice job fencing in the state/region, though. Hope next coach doesn't undo that.

I think PP and Kragthorpe are different stories. Both were horrible tenures. We can emerge stronger. Brent Venables seems to be a solid candidate.

If P's replacement does for us what Strong did at Louisville I will view this three year reign of error as more than reasonable cost for where we end up.

Nope that D belonged to Kevin Steele...Venables was the one who Swinney brought in after that debacle..he is the guy whose D beat UGA opening week though.

Good, that's better. I ask because I don't follow these things. I trust Manuel to hire a young upstart coordinator or else the HC of North Dakota St. Something like that. Hell, some college should have hired Trestman ages ago.

I honestly don't know who to trust any more, especially an AD.I hope this AD puts UCONN with a better hire than the former did ( the rat).
