We should not look a gift horse in the mouth but 3 interesting games to the BY are on at the same time today
1PM Eastern

1) UConn vs UCF on SNY

2) GW (Jen Rizzoti as coach) at Duquense CBSNN

3) Alabama at SCar ESPN2 (actually 2 PM start)

4) For Purists, Texas at Iowa St MSG Plus

also for those who need their fix

Tenn vs Kentucky at 4PM on ESPN2
Temple vs Memphis at 6PM (AAC match up) ESPN2

Would be nice to see Rebecca Lobo but probably still on vacation

Perhaps some tech savy BY's may tape some games and provide interesting insight to us.

Washington at Oregon State just started on Pac-12 Network.

LSU at Mississippi State on the SEC Network.

Thanks for the LSU Mississippi State reference. Wanted to see if Mississippi State is as good as ranked.

Isn't UTenn / Kentucky coming up on ESPN2?

Overabundance! Bite your tongue Knave!! ;) A treat. Beats the heck out of all the Really Cheesy Cheese Bowls raining down on us in ever increasing numbers.

This is when you see most of the Women's BB games televised - On Sunday. ESPN and the other networks know they can't compete with the NFL so they put on their lowest revenue generator. Sad but true. However it's GOOD news for us who like to watch them! Just have to bookmark a lot of channels to keep up with the action. I usually watch the closest contests. Right now TCU and Okla.

Oh - now TENN & KY is the closest.

The Oregon State-Washington game was a very entertaining matchup of two Final Four teams from last year.

Oregon State, playing at home, used red-hot 3-point shooting and put together a defensive masterpiece for most of the game. They had Kelsey Plum totally flustered for most of the 2nd and 3rd quarters. OSU built up a huge lead of 20+ points, but then UW mounted a furious comeback to make things interesting in the end. OSU won by 3 in the end.

Most Pac-12 teams play each other twice during the regular season, but UW and OSU won't see each other again until the conference tournament.

Only a FOOTBALL fan would say this!

Big fan of women's basketball and have to say "Thank You" to announcers on the UConn SC game. Most of the teams announcing today's games were poorly prepared-likely large percentage of this Board knows as much or more about the sport than some. When you go from Kara Lawson as the color analyst and last week's TV team to some of today's game announcers there is a huge drop off. Annoying.

I used the word "overabundance" because of the time conflict of the earlier games. I am happy to see as many games televised as possible.

Temple wins 73-67

Was starting to look like déjà vu after last year's five-OT marathon.

This win was important for Temple, which is one of 3 or 4 "other" AAC teams (along with USF and Tulane, and maybe SMU) that can reasonably aspire to an at-large bid.

Massey predicted the TN win. Unfortunately for TN fans, that's not because TN is better than some think, it's because KY is worse than some think. Massey has KY at 26, in other words, they should not be ranked.

You will have to excuse Kentucky. They were looking at a Diamond. Then got hit by a Mercedes :)

Most of these games are on ESPN3 replay, so you can watch them later at any time.
