Heard the post game radio feed talk about SMU making adjustments to take away our running game after halftime. In the second half we went to a lot of I formation, FB, HB, wingback who was usually a TE/ McQuillian, a tight end and a single wideout/Davis. So why wouldn't SMU put 9 in the box and make it harder to run? We were telegraphing our plays. This staff fails to realize how successful most teams in the country are running from a spread formation. Not to mention we never threw to Davis out of this formation. It was the British marching up Breeds Hill.
