At least the pain is over. Offseason should be an interesting one.

It's called "having a pair", or in our case "lack thereof"

Holy hell, I didn't realize it was that bad. That's worse than the Marquette game.

The play of our big men has been truly mystifying and, in addition to the lack of cohesiveness of our guards in perimeter defense, the reason for our disappointing season.

Unfortunately, what it's actually called is adjusting to the other team.

We did not take advantage of our height. The minute we couldn't play AO, AD, and RS all at once, we conceded rebounding.

If Andre and Alex played tonight we would have won the board battle for the sure. I am just getting to the Yard and didn't hear the broadcast team mention anything...but where were Oriaki and Drummond?

A ton were hustle rebounds by the littles. Lamb/Napier/Boat did not help at all

Bigs don't rebound, never did. Always bigger and rarely hammered opponents on the boards. I love blocking shots too but there comes a time when boxing out your guy rather than leaving him to help and block a shot needs to end. Agreed though the perimeter guys were not in sight on a few longer rebounds but their guards were.....hey the ball bounces funny sometime, just sucks when it does for a full year! lol

Oriakhi and Drummond played a total of 50 minutes and had a total of 6 rebounds. Playing their average minutes it would come out to be about 8 rebounds between the two. They didn't show up ready to play.

You forgot to add their combined 4 points.

Rebounding has been problem for UCONN Men from their 1st tournament in Bahamas. I remember a timeout when Calhoun asked big men to grab ball and rebound. Drummond needs more seasoning. I wish he was more fluid offensively. He will not be able to dominate with his dunks at pro level. Most peolple in NBA has HOPS. Defensively he needs improvement as well although he pulls off some nice blocks. Alex O needs fine tuning as well. My list can go on and on.

Calhoun may be a great coach. His roster however require some major improvements. If he had 2-3 players from Marquette roster UCONN would still be playing.
