Who do we want on our side of the bracket in MSG, Nova or Creighton? I say Creighton, we should’ve beaten them the first time.

Is this a real question?

Probably want to avoid the program that has won 2 recent National Championships until the Final.

Who is the 6 seed? St. Johns?

Xavier if they lose to Marquette... otherwise it’s St. Johns

I like the draw either way. Xavier just lost one of their best 3 point shooters for the season and we certainly owe St. John's one. Creighton is certainly beatable in the semis as we came close twice. Avoid Nova until the Finals.

Man does it feel good to care again. And being at MSG? Feel like a kid again.

We have to beat them both, what difference does it make?
Seeding. The more games we play in the BET tournament the better our seeding. If we get to the finals that’d be a great look. So me personally I prefer the path of least resistance to the finals. No one will remember who we beat on our way to the BET finals, they’ll just remember we got there

If you play both that's better than playing one.

So if you think we'd lose 100% to Villanova but have a better chance against Creighton, you want Creighton to potentially get that win rather than 100% lose in the semi.

If this were the NCAAT I'd agree with your sentiment, but we want to make as deep an NCAA run as we can, and the more games against good teams the better.

I hate that I’m thinking that, but I am.
They keep trying to dump it down to a different guard on the block and it has NOT gone well. For those doubting Gillespie's value, this has been a case study.

If Marquette and PC win Saturday, PC is 6 seed.

If Xavier wins, the loser of Seton Hall St. John's is the 6 seed.

If Marquette and Villanova win, Xavier is the 6 seed.

Definitely Nova now without Gillespie. They only go 7 deep when they’re full strength. Now they have basically 5 players and 1 bench player that gets minutes (Swider). They are extremely thin.

Seton hall is 10-6 in conference, they can’t fall that far.
