This could be major FUN...or a bit challenging. What do you think?
 
Just because its Tennessee, they will win that game. ECU is a no brainer and so is Cincinnati. UCONN will go down by 10 points to the National Team and 'sadly' will get SMOKED by Oregon (who will want to make this game a "Statement Game' to the entire country).
 
I say we go 4 - 1. Only loss to USA team.
If we play like today and keep the movement going we win 4 of 5. IMO we need to face guard the opponents best player.....limit the shots by them or at least alter them.
Go get ‘em UCONN!

I'm trying to determine if "SMOKED" is worth more than 10 points if UConn "will go down by 10 points to the National Team.

Where they seem to be right now I will be plesently surprised if they were to win against USA or Oregon.

Hopefully, at some point at the end of the season UConn can prevail against Oregon.

I don't thinks there's ever been a Huskies team that could beat a Team USA. Unless maybe in 03 or 04 when DT could beat the world...

So are you saying that this year's Oregon team is better than every other UConn team that has ever taken the floor? :confused:

I think Ionesco will view this game as a personal challenge and god help us.
 
I think the Oregon game will be a very tough win.....but that we’ll be ready for them with greater contributions coming from Anna and ONO, together with a fully supportive home crowd.....making the difference!!!

unfortunately from what I understand the roster of the USA team Oregon beat is not the same as the team UConn will be facing
 
Given their size and experience we could very well lose to Oregon but it will not be a blowout. The final score in the Baylor was very deceiving and I do not believe that Oregon is any better than Baylor. Please, please, please start Ana. We have to have all five players looking for shots.
 
Why is this silly pointless Team USA game even taking place? Can you imagine someone getting hurt? I picked Team USA the only loss.

I meant that the US team that Oregon played was missing a number of the most talented players...............last I heard the team UConn is playing has a more talented roster........

@Charliebball it is my Understanding that you are absolutely correct. Geno said it during a presser (might have been one of those stand-up ones pregame soon after Oregon/USA game)... words to the effect... "We will play a much different Team USA... I wish we could play against the same Team that Oregon played." As the time till the 2020 Olympics decreases, More of the TOP Team USA players are becoming "available", and more desire to play with the other probable Team USA Teammates to help get their chemistry and team work together before they take on the World.

As long as UConn puts in a good effort I'm not to concerned with the outcome of this game........................I view it as what it is.......an exhibition.............
