Our House

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."

Am I the only one that feels the stars are REALLY aligning in this direction tonight @ MSG vs. a very beatable Syracuse team? A win tonight will REALLY put things in overdrive. Mentally I think this team is all in. Mind is to physical as four is to one. We were missing that in last years Cuse game.

A golden opportunity UCONN needs to take advantage of.

No. We're doomed. Please try to keep that in mind.

From the UConn Blog (circa 2011)

There is nothing that opposing fans hate more than hearing the U! C! O! N! N! UCONN! UCONN! UCONN! chant. Opposing fans really do hate the cheer. You can see it on their faces when the UConn faithful break it out, and you can especially tell by the parody versions you hear (most common: U! S! U! C! K! You Suck! You Suck! You Suck!). It just gets under opponents skin. I think it's a combination of the fact that A) It sounds awesome and B) It is only released at the most crippling, back-breaking moments of a game.

Looking forward to some deafening moments. I think this cheer is never louder than when it is unleashed at MSG.

The new guys on the team are going to be surprised when they realize how UConn fans will be there. I am pumped to be in the building tonight in Section 9

Actually, the old guys on the team are the ones who are going to be more surprised. #NewEra
