Legal action because UConn was 2-22 under Edsal and Spanos for two years? Spanos was always pondering things, even when calling plays. The BCU guy who writes for the New London paper states that Spanos may be pondering legal action against UConn.

20 minutesAny word on what we're doing here other than the previous rumors closer to around the time Spanos took a leave of absence. I know there was speculation here and there, but nothing concrete... Any updates???
He's still digesting their loss to us.This was the unattributed comment in The Day:
“The Athletic also alluded to the departure of former defensive coordinator Lou Spanos, who took over as interim coach after Edsall stepped down — and then left the program for what was described as personal reasons two weeks before the season opener.
“We haven’t seen him since the day he left,” Mora told The Athletic. “He’s just in the rearview mirror.”
Except that several sources say Spanos is pondering a lawsuit against UConn and the football program, which may cost the university, already awash in the athletic department’s financial woes, more money in payouts. Stay tuned on that one.”
Attention seeking behavior…He's still digesting their loss to us.
That’s crazy. Mora could get him a job in the NFL if he wants it, then everyone is happy. This was the unattributed comment in The Day:

Well he has straight up stated basically it is and the calls himself BCgenius on twitter while he takes shots at the school and calls people who went to UConn idiots. He has attacked Mora multiple times and seems to defend Edsall even when there is no reason toSo Dimauro can't find out why our QB situation was what it was (When was Millen surgery, is Millen expected to be fully healthy?, what about tyler P?).....but he is all over Mora's comments on Edsall and rumor of a Spanos lawsuit.
Hard not to think his priorities aren't to trash the program.
Sounds like "journalism" as it appears to be taught today.Well he has straight up stated basically it is and the calls himself BCgenius on twitter while he takes shots at the school and calls people who went to UConn idiots. Didn’t Spanos get paid through the end of his contract?Oh great. Ollie part 2.
YesDidn’t Spanos get paid through the end of his contract?
So what could a lawsuit be about? Defamation? Blocking his ability to run a passive defense?Yes

Well, he didn’t do anything this year due to an unspecified illness. How do we know that he is fully recovered?Sounds like unless they pay him off, Mora is the DC next year? I’m okay with that.
