Will be a lot tougher than Texas and South Carolina. We will either have LSU or Vandy in ours and UCLA while South Carolina and Texas will have probably Duke and Iowa as their 2 seeds. So much for #1.
I think we get South Carolina in the semis and UCLA in the finals.I'm confused. Are you saying if everything goes the way it's supposed to, UCONN would meet UCLA in the final 4? Pretty sure that's incorrect. The only way would be if both teams make the finals.

I think @Rudy1927 is expressing their frustration that UConn and UCLA get tougher 2 seeds (LSU and Vandy) than SCar and Texas (Duke and Iowa) despite being the top #1 seeds.I'm confused. Did I miss it; are the brackets out? Where can I find them so that I can better understand the context of this thread?
Top 16 will be revealed Saturday the 14thSunday evening, I believe.
Alphabetically, yes. Allows schools to have an extra day to start planning for hosting. The official bracket reveal is Sunday.Top 16 will be revealed Saturday the 14th
The BY don’t need no super Sunday seeding to determine who we’re playing.🥴Did I miss it; are the brackets out? Where can I find them so that I can better understand the context of this thread?
Maybe over the years, but last year not a single number one seed was knocked out prior to the final four unless they played UConn. As to UCLA, they are good, no question. So are we. But I will remind people that no team is guaranteed to make it to the final four. Many a #1 seed has fallen along the way.
The SEC 1 teams get to avoid the sec 2 seeds; and yes it is an advantage. But I think it is fair because they played against the grueling SEC conference all season. Will be a lot tougher than Texas and South Carolina. Take a dep breath. Everything is just fine. Going independent is a pretty radical idea and honesty isn't even possible. Most of all, right now I am concerned that the committee will give the overall #1 to UCLA. Based on the killing they gave Iowa, losing only one game, with 18 quad 1 wins, many podcasters are giving it to UCLA, not us. If that happens, we have to leave the BE, even going independent if we have to, but if this happens it is all on the BE conference. UConn has done everything in their power to play as many great teams as possible, but this conference is hurting us big time, its like playing in a mid-major conference that will only get 1 bid. IMO, even though UCLA plays in a good conference, it would be a gigantic slap in the face to deny the #1 seed to the undefeated defending National Champions.
The committee could easily decide to give the #1 overall seed to UCLA, given the sheer number of ranked teams that they have had an opportunity to play and defeat. If that meant that UConn was #2 overall, I couldn't say that was unfair. Most of all, right now I am concerned that the committee will give the overall #1 to UCLA.
