Yep, they look to be a good example that you can turn your fortunes fairly quickly especially if you can right the defensive ship. My guess is they will be 4 and 0 heading into the Uconn game with a head of steam.

Cincinnati has looked good so far, no question. But I still like our chances against teams who score in the 20s than teams who score in the 50s or 60s. Not saying we are going to win that one - we probably won't - just saying a game in the 20s or 30s is more our speed. Of course, our D is more than capable of giving up 50 or 60 to anyone in the country.

Pitt is toast. They outplayed PSU in first half but special teams killed them. Should've been up 12-7 at worst, not behind. Then Narduzzi inexplicably stops running up the gut where they've had consistent success and starts running his slower RBs wide starting with last series of 1st half... and PSU adds 14 points in a couple minutes playing time.

Perhaps. But Narduzzi abandoned the run in late 1st half before adjustments were made.

Anyway, severe coaching issues there. Seems best thing to happen to them last three years was actually Matt Canada.

Yup, latter 2Q through 2H ped state increasingly stacked the box influencing spitt's meager attempt to diversify on O. Couldn't pass successfully, then couldn't run through ped state's stacked box, bad combo for the spitters.
