South Florida is miraculously playing much better now. Leading Tulane 40-22 at halftime.

Tulane had an outside shot at an NCAA bid after picking up a couple of quality wins in the OOC. Losing here would make that a very distant outside shot.
 
USF crushes Tulane, 73-46.

Freshman Sydni Harvey had a career-high 25 points, including four 3-pointers.
Enna Pehadzic added 21 points, including five 3-pointers.
Shae Leverett had a double-double with 13 and 12.

USF has only 8 players available. Five of them are freshmen, two are sophomores.

There must be something wrong with Pellington. The box score says she didn't start and played only 8 minutes.

Edit to add: Iowa State was 16 of 34 from 3. That's a pretty insane combination of volume and efficiency.

I used to pull for them when I was a youngster in football..... before they got the death penalty. A lil bit in basketball. Remember Jon Koncak? I pull for them now every now and then. :rolleyes:

Texas survives a close game against TCU, 73-67.
Joyner Holmes came up big this game, 17 points.
Charli Collier with probably her best game yet: 14 points and 5 rebound in only 16 minutes of play.

And UCF has outscored SMU 24-4 in 4Q to win, 55-43 :D

I have to say after seeing Tulane in person, I hate to think how bad the teams are that they beat, They are not a good team on a good day. They have no real shooters. I could not figure out who their leader is. And I didn't think their coach did them any good during the UConn game.
 
Gonzaga bounced back from their loss to BYU w/ a 86-61 win over San Diego.

And BYU survived a scare at home vs. Portland. Trailed by 9 early in 4Q before coming back to win.
