Other games tonight 1/24

Timeout Clemson...NC State showing signs of starting to roll. 43-35, Wolfpack Women lead, 2:15 left 3rd quarter.

KY looks like it will win this game of oppression 49-41 with 1' left. Coach Mitchell dressing down with a sweatshirt. If you can get away with it, more power to him. ;)

A quick 5-point burst by Kiara Leslie (a THREE...followed by a steal and layup) gave NC State its biggest lead of the game at 48-37, before the Tigers got a bucket at the buzzer. NC State leads 48-39, going to the 4th.

Too many games to follow.... can only watch one at a time. Might have to watch the replay of a few. I dont hear any wailing outside coming from the West.. so I assume TN is playing close to ND

Kentucky up 11 over Missouri in the closing seconds.

I assumed I would go to the gym and lift weights after a Duke Thursday night win...... but im really hungry so I think imma just start planning on a post game celebration meal. Then again.... a post celebration meal would probably take 10 straight hours on the treadmill to burn off Head bangHead bangHead bang

.-.
Michigan St. up 10 over Illinois w/ 30 seconds left (must be in East Lansing if the Spartans are winning).--oops, end of Q3 not Q4

tOSU leading Maryland by 1 late in Q1

Ha nice dig at Michigan State. Pretty much true. They have yet to win a Big Ten game on the road.

4:43 left...Clemson on an 8-0 run to make it a 50-47 game in Raleigh.

NC State turned the ball over on three consecutive possessions...all steals. Tigers lead 51-50.

.-.
Timeout Clemson...1:22 left. NC State leading 52-51.

NCS-Clemson -- It's like the old days of listening to a radio broadcast with announcers from one team. Complete with poor sound quality. An entertaining listen.

I switched away from TN-ND, which is now out of reach.

Almost surreal watching Clemson on the verge of beating a top 10 team on the road.

Beautiful backdoor cut by Leslie...54-51, NC State...39 seconds left.

Nice out of bounds play by NC State to give Leslie a layup.

I tell ya, Clemson has some athletes on this team. They are quick and very disruptive on defense.

NC State has 2 wolves and a panda for mascots....huh?

.-.
Wow, Konig misses both FTs to keep Clemson very much in the game. A three will tie it...

4 straight missed FTs by NC State but 2 wasted possessions by Clemson

54-51 NC State wins. Clemson scoreless after grabbing a 51-50 lead.

AINT NO WAY WE WERE GOING 0-16 in the ACC

NC St hangs on again.

Next up: @GaTech (prob close win), @Wake (win), UNC (win)
Then @FSU, @Syr, ND.

54-51 NC State wins. Clemson scoreless after grabbing a 51-50 lead.
Yeah, going scoreless in the last 4+ minutes is not the formula for winning close games.

NC State survives despite only 6 points in 4Q and despite shooting only 3-22 from 3 and 5-12 on FTs.

.-.
WHEW! NC State edges Clemson, 54-51. Wolfpack Women now 19-0, 6-0 ACC. Clemson 14-6, 5-2 ACC.

Tigers were probably the most physical team NC State has faced this season. At one point, they had four consecutive steals. NC State had the look of a tired team

The end of NC State-Clemson was awful. NC State couldn't hit FTs and Clemson couldn't draw iron on anything. Yeah, 4:23 without scoring for Clemson, yikes.

Whoa. The wheels are officially off the Virginia Tech bus. Lost to UNC tonight 81-69, were outscored 43-21 in the 2nd half.

Virginia Tech and Pitt are both 0-6 in the ACC.

Miss St over Florida in a squeaker, 90-42. How in the hell did Mizzou lose to Florida?

T pulled one of her disappearing acts with 2 pts and 6 rebounds, but Howard, the guards and the youngsters took up the slack.

MSU 20 assists and 10 TOs. 16 steals.
Florida 4 assists and 27 TOs.

MSU bench outscores Florida 43-42.
