OT: Xbox Halo question

I was in another thread about Switch but had to return it, after lots of issues, & got an Xbox.

We’ve played the Halo game at Dave & Busters. No clue which it is. I’d like to use two controllers & play fun missions with my son. Which Halo makes sense to get? CE, Halo 1, 2, or the new Master Chief? My sons seven & doesn’t need a scary backstory or chronological timeline.

An Xbox One? The Master Chief collection has Halo 1 remastered, 2 remastered, 3, and 4 so probably get that and go in order?

Yes. Split screen coop missions are a great play to start. You two vs the computer.
You can play online vs others but be prepared to get your tail kicked and trash talked by 8 year olds.

My kids are 29 & 32 and we still play coop split screen when are together.

Halo isn't really a bloody game.Your shooting aliens most of the time and in multiplayer its pretty bloodless. Halo is very kid friendly. I think a 7 year old should be fine.
