OT: WNBA players on overseas teams

How do the players wind up on any particular team?

Do those teams have scouts who attend game or watch them on tv or internet?

Personally I don't think it's all a bad idea for them to play overseas. I had a great time in Germany whne I was stationed there in the Army.

I think a lot of them have agents who work on getting them work overseas.

I have seen agents at college games out west. They usually find the parents in the stands and talk to them before, halftime or after a game. I dont know if they can or do speak to players after the games. The agents I have seen are currently representing players who used to play at a school or were former teammates of a current player. The agents know who to work with in the countries around the world and what the teams needs are.
