Yes, the greatest safety in the history of football needs this win to ensure his trip to Canton.

Uhh, While Ed Reed is definitely an all-time great, I think Ronnie Lott would beg to differ with the statement above.

Nobody played SS and brought the wood and QB'd a D, like Darren Woodson in the early 90s and nobody noticed because of Michael Irvin and the Dallas offense. That defensive secondary was incredible for multiple years, and put a mediocre Aikman in the HOF.

That said, I don't think there is a defense in the NFL that regularly across the board hits as hard as the Ravens. By the 4th quarter, opposing offensive players are regularly intimidated downfield against this team. THe most violent football game I can recall in recent times was a Ravens v. Steelers championship game I think 3-4 years ago now.

And I agree - while Ed Reed is a great player at the position, nobody trumps a guy that had his finger partially amputated so he could be back to playing faster.

Ronnie Lott was the best. Nobody hit harder, and he kicked butt in Tecmo Bowl.

As a rookie Ronnie Lott instantly changed that defense of the 49ers, he was an all pro as a rookie and went on to win the Super Bowl.

I think God is on Ray Lewis' side.

But I think it goes

1) Notre Dame
2) Te'o
3) Ray Lewis

It's insulting and unprofessional for Sal Paolantonio to ask Ray Lewis about the game and let him drivel on and on about all the reasons God wanted the Ravens to win. If he had any guts he would have said "Wait a minute Ray, what did God have against The 49ers?"

RAY LEWIS was implicated on two murders... Fact
He turned on two of his ex-friends to take the fall. .. Fact
Yet ... the the NFL wants him to be a role model ... My opinion

Ray Lewis is a loud mouth, thug. He is a role model for no one. Oh and Ray, keep yo damn jersey on after the game. Impressed with yourself much there, Ray. Camera should have been focused on anyone but Ray after the game.

The media should totally ignore Ray Lewis. He is a thug from the U who should be in jail. If he has found repentance then I'd be OK with him working in a factory making minimum wage. Not buying off families cuz he's got more money than is good for him.

Wait, but he is big time. You love big time players, no? Regardless of character?

Didn't say I'd be opposed to UConn bringing in a big time player of Ray Lewis's character. Just keep the camera's off of him when he goes through his gyrations and preachin'. Just play the game Ray, no one cares what you think?

Yeah, if UConn could get someone of this talent, I'm all for it. Heck Miami did and they're doing a lot better than UConn at this point.
