Also, three years ago, the cable went down ON THE DAY OF THE FINAL FOUR GAME! It was a Sunday, and I was told they'd be out in a few days. I went out, literally to see if my AT&T phone service could give me streaming for that day. When I got home, there was a Comcast tech re-attaching the cable at the street level. (I think we gave him a bottle of nice bourbon. Shhh.)

We almost never lose service, the internet is very fast, and while I hate paying that bill, I have yet to find anyone better.

Interestingly, I was reading an article in Bloomberg last night that said that the cable companies aren't concerned with the millions of people cutting the cord-- because they just pass the costs onto the rest of us. That, I'm afraid, is the real issue -- not the actual service.
