We have had (at same time) 2 Honda Odysseys for a total of 21 years and about 410,000 or so miles. great engine, drive like a sedan, dependable, moved a lot of crap in them over the years. Both are now being used by my sons in their construction business and are chugging alone.

Both Honda and Toyota will do fine but I thing the Odyssey has a little more pep.

Don't know much about the Odyssey but I absolutely love my Sienna. They don't call it the "Swagger Wagon " for nothing.

We've had two Siennas and love them. Like most Toyotas, the seats, including the rear seats, are very comfortable. The mileage is typically a bit over 21 mpg. Few maintenance issues even over 100000. We currently own a 2010. We bought it really for when we have grandchildren visiting and because it has 8 seats and works out great. Even with the back seats in use, the storage space behind the seats is quite good. I've not been in an Odyssey, but in several other minivans. We love that the Sienna, unlike other minivans, handles and feels like a car, not a truck.

Don't believe the Odyssey is available in AWD. The Sienna is if that is important to you. Either is a good choice.
