Folky rocker from Maine, Catie Curtis. I like her in small doses...

You know you love this song...

Mr. Tap Toe by Doris Day 1952

This song was one of those that just stuck in my head for 64 years. Tried to find it but got the lyrics wrong since I didn't really know English well at the time. I made " Pretty hand painted tie --frede ann denisy. This is one of the silly songs that Doris Day put on the charts.

Look at you. The Soul Stirrers. This song along with "Oh, Mary Don't You Weep" really made Sam the sex symbol on the gospel circuit.

Possibly obscure...the singer certainly is, as you won't hear him on your Clear Channel.
Can you from memory give us this song?

Do you have some jeans you really love,
Ones that you feel so groovy in?
You don't even mind, if they start to fray.
That only makes them nicer still.

Donovan, "I Love My Shirt." Off Barabajagal I believe (the title track of which I posted in the nonsense words song thread recently). Great album.

The "cloak" aria from the last act of La Boheme, sung by the Philosopher Colline.

Back when the bikini was just starting to become popular this song was popular

This brings to mind Tommy Smothers' never to be forgotten "scurvy dance", where everyone dances around an ascorbic acid bottle.

The girls go by dressed up for each other. WILD NIGHT.
For those who may have never heard or seen Van do this. I had the good fortune to have seen him 3x. So...
O-o-o-o-o-o-o-wee.
