...are now beginning to screech our ears to disability in the ladies semi-finals.
They will be followed by Serena vs. Sara Errani of Italy.

How much of a limb will I crawl out on, if I predict that 2 of these players will be Williams cannon fodder?

If serena got a tough draw at wimbledon, she got the draw of her dreams at the us open. I don't think she'll blow either Azarenka or Maria out like she did during the Olympics, but she will certainly be the heavy favorite to win #15.

The 2 biggest screamers/grunters in the game makes for almost unwatchable tennis. I hope maria kills her. Up a break early in the 2nd set...

Remember when Serena lost a point for yelling and the set I think, well why is this screeching OK!!!

It's remarkable how many free points Serena gets off of her serves relative to other top women's players. It's why she dominates when she's physically and emotionally present.

Its amazing how most of the points in the Serena match are so quiet in comparison to the 1st Semi Final. Much more enjoyable Tennis.

Ho-hum, Serena up 5-0 to open the match....

That was an inevitable blood bath. Errani is plucky, but she doesn't have a single weapon to threaten a player like Serena, especially on hardcourt.

Azarenka is going to have a problem with Serena because she doesn't get enough free points on her serve. The result is that she gets into too many groundstroke rallies with Serena Williams, which is not a good place to be.

High praise from Errani in the post-match presser:

......"Given that men are always quick to say women are a lot worse ... I'd love to see her play in a (lower-level) men's tournament and see how they deal with her. It's easy to talk. On the court, it would be different," the 10th-seeded Sara Errani said.
......"I've practiced with a lot of guys ranked 400th or 500th," Errani said. "I've never played with a man who hits as hard as she does."

I want Serena to win and am hoping that there are no crazy circumstances that affects her concentration.
