I love bill pay. The first time I used it was to pay a local businessman so this meant generating a check by the credit union and their mailing it out. For reasons I am not certain of, this is less expensive for the credit union than for them to process a check I write myself.

Been doing this for years and thus far 100% accuracy.

weird isnt it... do banks make out checks/money orders these days? I recall them wanting anywhere from $3-5.00 per

Yes, it is still a service every bank I have used still offers. Depending on what types and how many accounts I have with a particular institution, often the service has been free.
