Some intriguing creations, of the list so far I have to say the one I find most appealing is;
" fresh tomatoes seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic & oregano with super-sharp, fall-apart provolone cheese on Italian bread"

A couple of my favorites, from childhood days, are a fried egg with a slice fresh tomato, salt, pepper and mayo on a fresh hard roll. The other is white bread fried in butter and topped with applesauce and cinnamon served open face.
