just knocked off 70 dollars on monthly bill, locked in same price for 2 years and saw that the monthy was only 20 dollars more that the same package offered to new subscribers . Plus got some additional services thrown in.

Ya, sure it is.

No where in that article did I get the feeling that things were going to an a la carte model. It isn't going to happen. Stop dreaming about it happening.
