OT: UConn Cardiac Center donation

Thanks to some Boneyarder's generous donation, the amount pledged to buy the UConn Cardiac Center a bypass pump now stands at almost $17,000, or about 68% of the total cost of $25,000. The money is being collected and will be paid by the UConn Foundation, not any person from the Boneyard. While the donations are being made to honor Jim Calhoun, the donation of the pump itself is just a tremendous thing in and of itself. I can't think of many opportunities I've had to directlly purchase something that can save lives.
