OT: UConn Campus Memories

Has anybody mentioned or does anybody remember the Anonymous Pub at the old Student Union? I worked there pouring and drinking beer my senior year (1976-77) and giving freebies to the cheerleaders. My dorm, Crandall (B) was one of the first co-ed dorms in 1975-76. Also, Steve Martin at Jorgensen in Spring, 1977. Man do I miss those days.

I have a criminal misdemeanor courtesy of the Anonymous Pub. You guys served me too many beers then got all uppity when I decided to punch out some ceiling tiles.

Anonymous Pub "concerts" with Ray Boston and kazoos
dying through room draw at ROTC with a ridiculously low lottery number
"bagel and cream cheese - 35 cents" every night at 9 pm
Willington Pizza - buy 4 get 1 free (before they got famous); then getting
stoned and eating all five
Ron Pape and the irreverent FSSO Forum alt newspaper
and Ron's UConn Nutmeg Yearbook centerfold when he was its editor
late night traying after a huge snowstorm down the hill next to McMahon,
across Hillside Road and down Gilbert Road onto Mirror Lake
