OT: Twitter Client

I hate posting OT stuff in sports boards, but I know a lot of you are heavy Twitter users. As some of you know, I used to be too. But I'm finding it hard to find a good Twitter client that is reliable and customizable. I loved Tweetdeck before Twitter bought it and screwed it all up, but the last version of it is somewhat unstable and a memory whore.

Has anyone had any luck with Twitter clients - especially those who follow at least 250 people like I do?

I'm looking for a desktop client preferably. FWIW, Ubersocial has screwed up my phone pretty good. Can't wait to upgrade from my P.O.S. lol!!!
