Currently 5-0 including a 27-point win over Colorado St ('17 RPI: 69) and just had a 21-point win over Miami-Ohio. Dunleavy's squad is led by Melvin Frazier, a 6'6 wing with 22ppg/8.2r/3.2a.

The team's lineup reminds me of '17 SMU a bit: 4 players with 30+ minutes/game and their length is pretty indistinguishable. Here is the height/weight of their top-7 minutes guys: 6'6/200, 6/8 225, 6/5 188, 6/6 220, 6/9 240, 6/9 250, 6/4 205. Turns out their top-two assists leaders with a combined 7.6 apg, Frazier and Jordan Cornish, are both 6/6 220. Sounds a lot like Sterling Brown and Shake Milton.

Bottom line, nice to see a good start from a typical AAC bottom-feeder. Some interesting non-conference games with UNC and Florida State lined up.

Saw Colorado State against someone else last week not too bad of a team, impressive big win for Tulane.

There is no reason why Tulane cannot be a basketball power. Great school with a ton of money and a fertile recruiting territory. Hopefully this season will prove to be a turning point.

The AAC is a heck of coaches league, our coaches can match up with any conference.
