OT: Tulane FB player seriously injured

Per ESPN a Tulane player had a helmet to helmet with a teammate attempting a tackle moments ago.

He suffered a broken neck and a collapsed lung. He briefly stopped breathing and CPR was administered by emergency personnel.

Cross your fingers for this young man - he's at the trauma center now. Many prayers will be flowing his way.

So easy to forget that football is not a safe sport, no matter the helmets and all those pads. How more such injuries don't happen is truly a mystery. Prayers going out to the injured player, his family, and the Tulane team.
