Greg Hansen (the well known local sports columnist) has completed his 100 greatest Tucson sports figures listing.

Women's Basketball gets mentioned:

81 - Julie Braise Hairgrove

Softball had a strong showing:
4 - Mike Candrea
16 - Jennie Finch
34 - Stacy Iveson (an assistant coach and alum, but noted for career as Community College coach)
