Precious Holmes is a junior at New Haven Hillhouse and on May 12 she placed second
in the 400 meters in a bigtime NYC area meet. She broke her own state record with a 52.67......almost one-half second better than her own prior record. That is a serious national-level time....elite stuff.
The best in the nation this year so far is 52.19 by a Miami high schooler.
All-star meets in June....GO Precious....take 'em down!
Any of our New Haven area gurus know what schools are looking at her?
Sydnee Over....junior at Windsor High...doesn't seem to have Holmes' top end speed...
maybe is better suited for the 800....but is also a national class recruit.
June 4....State Open in New Britain.
