Chances are all those officials from both games will be reffing their full slate of six games in six different cities in five different leagues this week.

I think David 76 pointed out another call which was strange in our game. At the 9.5 second mark or thereabouts, the OOB's play which they went to replay and didn't change despite the OBVIOUS result being Jackson hit it last. Well, the line was -6 UConn and they were up 7 - Memphis scored and it ended at 5……….in the old days that head ref would have been brought in and asked about his gambling history! ;)………I get it meant nothing but c'mon everyone saw who it went out on and replay's proved it more! Pretty strange…….

Barstool Sports agrees!

I was going to send an e-mail to the AAC director of officiating about this. Couldn't find one in the directory (there's one for the women though). Not that it meant anything to this game but to miss a call that obvious gives you little trust in their ability to effectively officiate games. And because of the betting line the call brings a lot of questions I'm sure the league would rather not deal with. If nobody points out their obvious mistakes how are they supposed to learn to become better officials?

The ASU no call was no big deal. Mosts Refs arent't calling a T against a home team in that situation. They might not of gotten out alive if they make that call.
The Duke v Maryland possession arrow thing is at best grounds for discipline because of incompetence but could have been a parting shot at Maryland .
Typical ACC.
The UConn call Actually questions the integrity of the officials with possible ties to gambling. Of the three the most serious allegation.

Not to worry. I took care of it for you.

He has been decidedly slower responding to me after this one, as compared to the officiating fiasco that was the Louisville game.

What's funny about the possession arrow call is that you are taught to NOT look at the table and to have it in your head which way the arrow is going (there are a number of ways to do this). However, if you have a disagreement with the table, I'm fairly certain the table is what you go by.

Thanks. If they write back can you post it? Would love to hear an explanation how the officials could blow a call that obvious after looking at the monitor.
