OT: Top Golf Courses in CT?

Starting to golf more again. When I was a young sales guy I was actually pretty good. 3 kids later and running my own biz and I have had no time. Have some time opening up for Golf this summer and wanted to see what you guys thought about top public courses in Hartford area. Also, Does anyone have any info on Hopmeadow CC.

Played Richter religiously when I lived in Danbury but now am in Hartford area. Have played Great River and while its beautiful it was challenging to score well. Thinking about playing Wintonbury.
